Tiffany and Steve’s Capitol Park Museum Wedding Had To Be Baton Rouge’s Party of the Year.
Capitol Park Museum Wedding. Baton Rouge, LA.
The beauty about this job is I get to meet amazing people who allow me to shoot weddings all over the US. A few weeks ago, Tiffany and Steve invited me down to Tiffany’s home town of Baton Rouge, LA to capture their big day in the capitol of the state. Luckily it wasn’t too hot and sticky and the weather couldn’t have been better. I started out with Tiffany and the girls at the hotel while they got ready, then I shot over to the church to capture a few images of Steve and his good friends. Before we knew it, Tiffany arrived and it was time to seal the deal. The church had a large window in the rear and the sun was at the perfect spot to shine through right onto the aisle. Although the light created challenges, it also allowed for some amazing imagery as Tiffany was walked down the aisle by her father. After the touching ceremony, we all hopped over to the Capitol Park Museum where the reception was held on the terrace thingy that overlooked the capitol building. The reception was jammed packed with events including first dances, speeches, cake cutting, and even some dance numbers by Steve and his frat brothers. It was quite the show. At the very end, the amazing band led the couple and the entire wedding party out of the venue in what they call a second line. It was amazing to be a part of and I am grateful I was able to be a part of Tiffany and Steve’s wedding. Enjoy the photos!
