Hayloft on the Arch Wedding. Vernon Center, NY.

Sometimes, sunny days can be a problem when photographing weddings. That mid-day sun is relentless and cast horrible dark shadows everywhere. So it was nice when we got a hazy/cloudy day for Nicole and Colin’s Hayloft on the Arch wedding. The sky provided a nice soft light and we had the chance to get great photos anywhere on the property. The day started with Nicole’s father seeing her for the first time in her wedding dress, and it was such a special moment. Colin and the fellas then arrived and got some group shots in before the ceremony. The ceremony was held at the arch and it was so lovely to see Nicole and Colin tie the knot. After the ceremony finished, we got all the family and bridal party photos out of the way and then grabbed a bunch of killer portraits. But before long, it was time to get the party started. Nicole and Colin ate and drank the night away with all their favorite people, and there was even a guest that jumped on the guitar and helped the band with a few songs.
