A Niagara Falls Birthday Weekend / Syracuse Family Photographer
Being a Syracuse wedding photographer, getting any free summer weekends are hard to come by. But June 18th was a special day, as it was my daughter, Shea’s first birthday. See her 1 year ago, here. It was also my father’s 60th birthday. So you can imagine that celebrations were in order. So we packed up the entire family, and trucked it up to Niagara Falls for a Birthday weekend. Luckily we got some awesome hot weather and plenty of fun was had. The first stop on the Birthday Bash bus tour was, of course, the falls.

My mother’s hair was going crazy from all the static electricity the Horseshoe Falls produced.

Then is it was time for the pool at the Oakes Hotel. Shea’s first adventure in water that wasn’t contained in a bathtub.

She got so comfortable, she decide to just lay back and relax.

This was our view from our hotel room on the 17th floor. Not too shabby.

Then it was off to Dave and Buster’s for some birthday dinner and games.

Here’s the birthday girl and birthday boy having their cake.

Then is was back to the hotel for presents.

Shea was trying to figure out how to use this new contraption called a chair. This is what she came up with.

And here’s the video.
The next day, we all went on the Maid of the Mist.

We then said goodbye to waterfalls and made our way back to Syracuse. Good times.
