Tarrytown House Estate Wedding. Tarrytown, NY.
After a challenging 2020 where weddings almost were non-existent, it was great to have my first wedding of the 2021 season. And what a wedding it was. Nadia and Adarsh invited their closest family and friends to just north of NYC for their all day Tarrytown House Estate wedding, complete with two ceremonies and a horse. The day started out in the bridal suite where Nadia put on her gorgeous yellow and green saree and met Adarsh outside for their first look. It was clear, Adarsh was blow away when he saw Nadia. We then completed some killer portraits around the Tarrytown House Estate grounds before it was time for ceremony #1 inside the ballroom. I always love shooting ceremonies at Indian weddings because there’s always so much going on. After the ceremony ended, we had a break for lunch and Nadia and Adarsh got ready for the baraat and ceremony #2. The baraat was incredible as usual as Adarsh rode his horse towards Nadia’s family. Then came the greatest Milni I’ve ever seen. It was a hard fought competition to see who could place the garland on the other family member first, with some definite upsets in the works. It was such a good time. But before long, the second ceremony was under way, and another touching moment was complete. More portraits followed and the reception was waiting to get started. A few amazing speeches later, the dance floor was open and everyone rocked the night away. It was a long day for sure, but I loved every minute of it. Congratulations Nadia and Adarsh and enjoy the photos!
