A Ventosa Vineyards Wedding – Molly and Ryan
Ventosa Vineyards Wedding. Geneva, NY.
The Finger Lakes in the summer is probably one of the most magical places in NY. The long clear lakes. The wineries. The gorgeous waterfalls. It’s truly heaven on earth. Which is why Molly and Ryan picked this setting for their Ventosa Vineyards wedding. And they picked the very best day of the month, like they had it planned all along. We started the day at a bakehouse near by, where Molly got ready with the lovely ladies, and then had her first look with Ryan on the dock. We then trucked everyone over to Ventosa for some portraits, wedding party, and family photos. The setting was just jaw-droopingly beautiful and I could have shot there all day. After the Ketuba was signed, it was time for the ceremony to make things official. A few tears and laughs later, Molly and Ryan had broken the glass and the knot was tied! It was such a sweet ceremony. Before they knew, Molly and Ryan were ready to party with their closest friends and family inside the ballroom. And this crowd came to party. I honestly didn’t know how they went all night, I was exhausted just watching them. But the evening finally had to end and Molly and Ryan left it off with a beautiful sparkler exit. It was the perfect end to the perfect day. Congratulations Molly and Ryan and enjoy the photos and video!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
My mom grew up in the Fingerlakes, and Ryan got his chiropractic degree in the Fingerlakes as well, so the area is special to us. We picked Ventosa because of the beautiful view, and option to get married in the vineyard.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
Dancing with our family and friends of all different chapters of our lives, all together.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
You can’t control everything, so try not to worry. It’s your day, and however it plays out, that will be the story.
How would you describe your wedding day?
Hot, but perfect. Truly the happiest day of our lives. I’ve never felt so much love in one place.
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Excluding our bridal party and families, I would say our friend Beans. He ripped his pants dancing, and proceeded to dance the night away afterward.
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
I remember seeing Tom’s work when a coworker got married a few years back, and thinking the photos were perfect. I had followed him on social media since then, and was so excited to find out that he was available. One of our best vendor decisions for sure.
