What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
We have visited the park next to the venue many times and always knew we wanted to get married overlooking the lake. We loved how the venue facilitates a full weekend of celebration and makes the couple feel like royalty.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
The moment we sat down at our sweetheart table and got to take in the decor, the view, and our guests celebrating – all our hard work felt so worth it when we saw it all come together.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
Bringing our friends and family together from all over the country and joining them in a full weekend of celebrations in our favorite place in the world.
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
From our dear friend Allie: “A wedding is a party, not a performance.” This reminded us to enjoy all the small moments and ignore the pressure to make everything perfect (though it was all perfect in the end).
How would you describe your wedding day?
Everything we envisioned from the beginning of the planning process – an absolute dream come true!
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Kieran, our officiant and Eamon’s youngest brother – he started and ended the night on the dance floor and only took breaks to walk his dog and to snap candid Polaroids of unsuspecting guests.
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
Every photo in Tom’s portfolio portrayed the couple beautifully but also focused on the other details – the venue, the flowers, the accessories, the weather. We wanted to make sure those things were captured so we could remember every detail of the day.
