Courtney and Dustin’s Battery Gardens Wedding.
Battery Gardens Wedding. New York, NY.
I was excited for Courtney and Dustin’s Battery Gardens Wedding because I knew if the weather was nice, we were going to get some amazing photos in an around downtown NY. While most of the day was spent at the southern tip of Manhattan, we also ventured to the World Trade Center area to capture some very unique portraits. But before we could get to the portraits, Courtney and Dustin had to get ready for their big day. They both got dressed at the same hotel, that was a few minutes walk from the church. The church was this tiny little old brick building smack dab in the middle of modern behemoth skyscrapers. It was amazing to see the past join forces with the future. Dustin arrived first and got prepared to watch his new bride walk down the aisle with her father. Once they met at the front of the church, the classic ceremony brought plenty of laughs and tears as the two became one.
After Courtney and Dustin officially tied the knot, we Ubered up to the WTC center from photos. We then headed back down to Battery Park for more portraits of the newlyweds. Before we knew it, it was time for the cocktail hour and reception. The ballroom at Battery Gardens isn’t a huge room, but because of it’s size, the party felt intimate and fun. And there was no shortage of bodies on the dance floor. It was a great end to an awesome 2019 wedding season for the Tom Harmon Photography team and I couldn’t have been happier to spend it with Courtney and Dustin. Congratulations guys and enjoy the photos!
