Belhurst Castle Wedding. Geneva, NY.
I really can’t believe how beautiful it has been this fall. The weather has been nothing short of amazing, and the color on the trees are so vibrant. Caitlin and Ryan’s Belhurst wedding was no different. They got a sunny warm day to hold their wedding. We started out in the castle tower suite where Caitlin and the ladies were getting ready. After Ryan arrived on site, it was time to get right to the first look. Ryan was blown away with how beautiful Caitlin looked. But he couldn’t gawk for too long because we had to get some portraits done around the beautiful grounds. The castle is a perfect backdrop for wedding photos. After portraits were done, it was time to get the lovebirds off to the ceremony. It was a quick and touching service, and before we knew it, Caitlin and Ryan were officially man and wife. It was then time to party in the Meritage Ballroom. And I have to say, this is the first time a couple cut a cheese cake. An actual cake made out of wheels of cheese. Caitlin and Ryan had a great time with their family and friends and everyone danced the night away. Congratulations Caitlin and Ryan and enjoy the photos!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
The historic castle and the lakeside views, also it’s haunted
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
Getting to go to our cocktail hour and spending more time with friends and family
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
Ryan- Caitlin’s gift to me. Caitlin- Our last dance
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
Don’t take anyone’s advice and do whatever you want to do
How would you describe your wedding day?
Well organized and stress-free. Exactly how we wanted it to be
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Caitlin’s grandfather Eli- He became a mini-celebrity with Ryan’s family and was the life of the party
