Hayloft on the Arch Wedding. Vernon, NY.

In the rustic embrace of the Hayloft on the Arch in Vernon, NY, Kate and Jordan’s wedding day unfolded beautifully under the ever-changing autumn sky. The day was graced with a pleasant fall ambiance, where the sun played hide and seek with the clouds, adding a whimsical touch to their celebration.

The venue, known for its pastoral charm and scenic landscapes, provided a myriad of picturesque backdrops for their portraits. A standout moment was undoubtedly their photos with the highlander cows, a unique and delightful highlight that brought a sense of fun and originality to their wedding album.

Their ceremony, held outdoors on the patio, was framed by the venue’s signature large arch. This setting did not just offer a breathtaking view but also symbolized the new gateway Kate and Jordan were stepping through together. As they exchanged vows in the open air, surrounded by the warmth of their friends and family, the atmosphere was imbued with love and a sense of intimate celebration.

As the day turned into night, the air was filled with the sound of good conversation and laughter. The barn transformed into a lively hub of celebration, with guests hitting the dance floor, fueled by high energy and great music. The blend of rustic elegance and joyful celebration made for an unforgettable evening.

Kate and Jordan’s wedding at Hayloft on the Arch was a perfect fusion of country charm and elegant festivity, marked by unique moments and the beauty of nature, creating memories that they will cherish for a lifetime.

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?

We loved the idea of a barn wedding that had some rustic charm to it, but still felt a little elegant. Hayloft had incredible coordination, the grounds were beautiful, & the ceremony & cocktail area were everything we had hoped for..

What was your favorite moment from your wedding?

It’s so hard to choose just one! When we were first pronounced husband and wife and our first dance are both up there for us.

What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?

We were touched by how many loved ones came to celebrate with us; the fact that so many of our friends and family made the trip was really special. The father/daughter first look was also a moment that the bride will never forget.

What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?

To step back and really soak in the moments because the day goes by so fast, and to find some time for just the two of us throughout the night.

How would you describe your wedding day?

Joyful, fun, and full of love, laughter, and libations 🙂

What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?

Tom’s style is timeless. He’s approachable, confident, & professional. It was important to us to not only love his work but to also enjoy his company, & we knew that he would make us feel comfortable in front of the camera.
