Nestled in the heart of Trumansburg, NY, the Inn at Taughannock Falls provided a breathtaking backdrop for Breanna and Nick’s wedding day. Despite the chill of an autumn day and the intermittent rain, the couple’s warmth and love outshone the elements, turning the day into a celebration of joy and togetherness.
The adventurous spirit of Breanna and Nick was on full display as they embarked on a short hike to the majestic Taughannock Falls. There, against the dramatic cascade of water, we captured some truly epic portraits, encapsulating the grandeur of nature and the depth of their bond.
Their ceremony unfolded under the shelter of a tent on the patio, a cozy and intimate setting that allowed guests to immerse themselves fully in the heartfelt vows and the beautiful surroundings. The rain added a touch of serenity and closeness, making the moment even more special.
The speeches during the reception were a rollercoaster of emotions, weaving together laughter and tears. Friends and family shared stories and anecdotes, highlighting the journey Breanna and Nick had embarked on and the bright future that lay ahead of them.

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
It was so just so beautiful and we knew we could get some really different but incredible photos!
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
When all of our grandparents were out on the dance floor and they started doing the limbo with a tie.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
Having one of our closest friends, Annie, officiate our wedding in a way that described our relationship perfectly.
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
Enjoy every second of the day because it goes by so fast and take time just the two of you.
How would you describe your wedding day?
Exactly what we wanted! It was a little different in the sense it was pretty small and we hiked to a waterfall in our full wedding garb.
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Jonathan LaSala – Nick’s groomsman. He got all the grandparents out on the floor and was the life of the party!
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
Bre has had the pleasure of knowing Tom most of her life and has actually said since he started taking photos that she wanted him for our wedding and when we picked somewhere near a waterfall someone who also did drone photography was an easy choice!
