A Hotel Syracuse Wedding. Syracuse, NY.
One of the finest things in Syracuse is of course the historic Hotel Syracuse. It’s grand stair cases and unmatched ballrooms are gorgeous and so picture worthy. We started the day with Brittany in a bridal suite upstairs while Jake got ready with the guys downstairs. Once they were all shined up and ready to go, we went into the Persian Terrace for their first look. We then took Brittany and Jake around the hotel for some sweet portraits before we got some wedding party and family photos. And before we knew it, it was time for the ceremony. The Persian Terrace was set up beautifully for the ceremony and it had many touching moments. The two lovebirds tied the knot and ran off into the night…but first, they had to party. The Persian Terrace was transformed into and elegant reception room and Brittany and Jake, along with their family and friends, partied hard all night. It was a great cap to the evening and everyone had such a great time. Congratulations Brittany and Jake and enjoy the photos!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
We love that 1920’s vibe the hotel gives off. As soon as we walked into the Persian Terrace we fell in love. It wasn’t until after we booked that we found out Jake’s Grandma and Grandpa Carocci had their first date at the hotel in 1946!
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
Other than the dance, we had quite a few moments to ourselves. During the first look, once right after the ceremony and another when we saw the room for the first time. It really allowed for us to take in the day!
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
Hearing the vows we wrote to each other was very special
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
Take some time for just the two of you to take a moment and take in the day because it really goes by so fast. Also, not to sweat the small things. Little unplanned things will happen and you just have to go with the flow.
How would you describe your wedding day?
Perfect.
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Hard to pick out just one!! Everyone was on the dance floor all night!!
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
We have been following Tom on social media for a while now and always loved his photographs.. even before a ring was in the picture. When it came to our big day it was an easy decision. The attention to detail and the creativity is unmatched.
