Tarrytown House Estate Wedding. Tarrytown, NY.
The weather played tricks on us all day. The forecast called for rain in the morning and the afternoon, and we expected it to be cloudy all day. But after the first look, the clouds cleared and we got enough time to get some really great portraits around the property. Sarah and Andrew were really interested in this large craggy tree near the entrance of Tarrytown House Estate, and we made our way down there for a bunch of epic portraits of the two of them. We then got the bridal party involved and the weather held out just long enough for us to complete those photos. The rain entered the scene and we all moved it inside for the touching ceremony. After the knot was tied, the party got into full swing. The band played, the people danced, and everyone was having a great time. A few speeches and special dances ensued and before we knew it, the amazing day had to come to an end. It was the perfect day for a perfect couple. Congratulations Sarah and Andrew and enjoy the photos!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
We loved that everything was in the same place and each room had its own personality.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
During our ceremony when we read our letters to each other. It was nerve wracking but really meaningful and special.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
Our families toasts, they absolutely blew us away. There was just so much love poured into them.
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
Take a few minutes away, just us two, to soak it all in.
How would you describe your wedding day?
Amazing. The first half of the day was filled with anticipation but at the same time pretty calm. Everything ran so smoothly. Then the party started and we just had the time of our lives!
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Probably my Dad. He was tearing up the dance floor!
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
Tom has such a beautiful style to his photos. They are the perfect blend of being naturally comfortable and beautifully dramatic. He also finds incredibly creative perspectives for his shots, they are stunning!
