Skylands Manor Wedding. Ringwood, NJ.
Sometimes February weddings are risky because you are at the mercy of the weather. But luckily, Kristen and Dan’s Skylands Manor wedding fell on a day with nothing but sunshine. And because of the low angle of the sun, it hit the amazing Skylands Manor in all the right spots. Kirsten started the day getting ready upstairs in the luxurious wedding suite, while Dan got ready with the fellas downstairs in the library. After Kristen was ready, she had an emotional first look with her father, and the tears were definitely flowing. Dan then waited outside to see his bride for the first time that day. You could tell he was blown away when they met. The couple and I then spent the next hour in and around the castle for their portraits and I could have spent another 4 hours with them. It seemed there wasn’t a bad spot to take a photo. After we captured the amazing love Kristen and Dan have for each other, it was off to the church Kristen grew up to tie the knot. The ceremony was emotional and beautiful. The deed was done, the bubbles went flying, and it was time to get back to the Skylands Manor for cocktail hour and the reception. At the reception it was amazing to see Kristen and Dan’s family and friends around the dance floor for their first dance. That’s what it was all about. The speeches came next and then it was time for cake cutting and dancing. It turned out to be a beautiful day all around for Kristen and Dan, and it’s a day they’ll never forget at their Skylands Manor wedding. Enjoy the photos!
