The Madison Hotel wedding. Morristown, NJ.
It can get a little tricky capturing wedding photos at a hotel, because of other guests, generic decor, etc., but Rachel and Ryan’s Madison Hotel wedding was anything but generic. It truly was a beautiful and unique venue and I could have shot there all week. There are so many gorgeous spots in and around the hotel, and each of them have a different look. We started the day with Rachel as she and the girls got dressed. Ryan arrived, quickly got into his tux, and headed out front for the couple’s first look. I took that chance to spend some time with Rachel and Ryan to get some really great portraits around the hotel. After the couples portraits were finished, the bridal party joined the party for some group shots, along with some immediate family photos. Before long, it was time to head back inside for the signing of the ketubah and just like that, Rachel and Ryan were officially married. But they also had to declare their love before their family and friends, so everyone gathered in the amazing conservatory for the ceremony. Some circling around each other, wearing the shawl, and smashing the glass put a cap in it. They were now one. After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed a little cocktail hour before it was time to party hardy. Rachel and Ryan were introduced into the ballroom, held their first dance, and then got lifted in their seats during the horah. Then the dancing was on like Donkey Kong, and their guests didn’t disappoint. Everyone had a great time celebrating the two love birds. Congratulations Rachel and Ryan and enjoy the photos and video!
