Lodge at Skaneateles Wedding. Skaneateles, NY.
Another killer wedding at the beautiful Lodge at Skaneateles. Michelle and Brandon started their days off site, getting ready with their sides of the wedding party. After they got all dolled up, they traveled over to the church for their ceremony. Once the knot was tied, Michelle and Brandon headed over to the Lodge to get some portraits and wedding party photos done. The weather held off and it was a nice soft overcast sky for our gorgeous portraits. The grounds at the lodge never disappoint and provided the perfect backdrop for Michelle and Brandon. After we were done taking photos, it was time to get back inside for the intros and first dances. The speeches came next and were very emotional. But before long, it was time to turn on the dance lights and get the party going. There’s no party like a lodge party. Everyone had an amazing time celebrating the happy couple. Congratulations Michelle and Brandon and enjoy the photos!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
We found the venue through Brandon’s sister and when we walked in, we realized it honestly couldn’t be more perfect. I, the bride, actually cried the moment we entered and saw the giant windows overlooking the water. It’s an absolutely stunning venue.
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
If you ask the groom, it was marrying his best friend.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
If you ask the bride, it was walking down the aisle with my father to my soon-to-be husband. I can’t put into words how much that meant to me.
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
To take a moment to ourselves during the reception to just look around and enjoy it. Definitely helped make it more real!
How would you describe your wedding day?
A success! So much stress and planning went into it, and in the end it was a huge SUCCESS!
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
Probably Brandon’s Grandma, she was the life of the party!
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
After seeing his work, I knew we could trust him to capture all the moments on such an important day.
