An English Manor Wedding – Gianna and Colton.
An English Manor Wedding. Ocean, NJ.
Oh that pesky rain. Nobody wants rain on their wedding day, but that’s what we got for the first half of Gianna and Colton’s English Manor wedding. But the happy couple handled it like champs, taking it in stride and working with me to create some awesome images either way. We started our day at the hotel as the girls and guys got ready with the wedding party. After the suits and dresses were on, it was time to head over to the English Manor for the first look. Right as the first look was done, the skies stopped with the waterworks long enough to allow us to get some portraits outside. We even got a chance to get the wedding party out for a group shot in front of the manor. After the portraits were done, it was time to invite the guests to the back where the ceremony was being held. It was such a gorgeous site and as the sun came out, it was clear the rain was done for the day. Gianna and Colton tied the knot in fashion and were officially Mr. and Mrs. The cocktail got under way and then it was time to party. The dance floor was packed all night and it was amazing to see so many people celebrate the happy couple. Congratulations Gianna and Colton and enjoy the photos!

What drew you to the venue and what was your favorite detail?
What drew us to the venue was how beautiful it was. We were able to have the ceremony outside in the garden and our cocktail hour was indoors and outdoors on the patio. We also were the only wedding of the day and the staff is so nice and accommodating!
What was your favorite moment from your wedding?
We both loved being surrounded by our friends and family and dancing the whole night. We also enjoyed having our time taking photos.
What was the most special thing you experienced at your wedding?
We enjoyed listening to all of the speeches
What was the best piece of advice you got before your wedding?
The best piece of advice for the wedding day was take a minute to just be with your partner, look around the room, and just take it all in. Advice for marriage that we got is to love each other every day and be each other’s biggest supporter.
How would you describe your wedding day?
Amazing! We truly still have no words for how great the day was. Despite some rain, it really was the most fun, loving, and such an amazing day!
What guest had the most fun at your wedding?
We truthfully have gotten so many messages from people saying they had a great time, loved dancing, and loved the food. I think the bridal party really had a good time as well as our parents and siblings.
What was the biggest reason you chose Tom Harmon Photography to capture your big day?
We truly loved Tom’s work and when we got the chance to speak with him he was just had a calm and pleasant demeanor to him. We loved the candids, lighting, and just beautiful photos from his portfolio and it was what we were looking for.
