Punta Cana Wedding. Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

There’s nothing that I love more than heading to the Caribbean in January to take photos. Luckily Courtney and Jeff were in need of a photographer and invited me to celebrate their wedding with their families in Punta Cana. Having photographed 5 other weddings from this family, I was very comfortable with the whole crew and I had the most amazing time with all of them. It’s really great to see two families come together to celebrate the love of a couple. On the day of the wedding, I started out with the preparation shots with Courtney and Jeff in their separate rooms. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the blue skies and palm trees made such an amazing backdrop. After Courtney and Jeff got ready, we headed to the beach where the touching ceremony was held. The vows were shared, the rings were exchanged, and the knot was tied. Before we knew it, Courtney and Jeff were officially husband and wife. After some family photos, the couple and I took a tour of the resort for their couples portraits. I could have shot there all day, but we had to get back to the reception dinner that included two beautiful speeches. The cake was cut, we got some killer nighttime portraits and that was that.
